The French e-invoicing mandate in a few words

Electronic invoicing will become mandatory in 2026–2027 for the vast majority of VAT-liable companies in France, and it will apply to all domestic B2B (Business-to-Business) transactions.

Companies will therefore no longer be able to send their invoices by mail or email, and will instead have to use electronic invoicing solutions known as “Accredited Platforms.”

In addition, a large amount of data from domestic B2B invoices will also have to be transmitted automatically to the State through these Accredited Platforms, including for international B2B transactions and for B2C (Business-to-Consumer) transactions.

List of Accredited Platforms in the benchmark

All the solution providers surveyed in the Accredited Platforms Benchmark agreed to participate voluntarily and all responded to the same questionnaire, which formed the basis for this report.
