Less than one month after the European E-Invoicing Exchange Summit in Berlin (September 30–October 2), the German edition of the Summit, the e-Rechnungs-Gipfel, will take place in Frankfurt am Main. Over three days, participants will join workshops, keynotes, roundtables, and panel discussions held in German and focused on e-invoicing in Germany.
Strong focus on Germany
The introduction of mandatory e-invoicing in Germany is entering a decisive phase. With the next major milestone approaching on January 1, 2027, the focus for businesses is shifting to practical implementation. The key question now is how e-invoicing processes can be successfully implemented while ensuring data quality, process efficiency, and compliance.
The program kicks off on October 26 with four practical workshops covering the successful implementation of e-invoicing, the new EN 16931:2026 standard, the specific challenges facing the financial sector, and a real-world assessment of data quality in e-invoicing.
On October 27 and 28, the focus will be on practical implementation and the next steps leading up to January 1, 2027. Topics on the agenda include the current state of e-invoicing in Germany, implementation strategies, procedural documentation, XRechnung 4.0, and ZUGFeRD 2.5.
The conference will also look beyond Germany: How can the national e-invoicing mandate be integrated into a future-proof European strategy? What role will ViDA play? And what new opportunities will AI and AI agents create for e-invoicing and automated processes?
An accompanying exhibition will provide an opportunity to discover the latest solutions and technologies and engage directly with leading providers.
